Till then, we have come up with rough speculations on what might happen in the next chapter.
In Chapter 57, Code will bring Eida back to consciousness from years of stasis. We may even get to know about her past (new villain means new flashback) and the extent of her powers.
Amado created Eida as a weapon to kill Jigen later. She is heavily modified with Shinobi-Ware and an unspecified number of Outers with capabilities exceeding that of Jigen.
Jigen knew the threat she poses, so he ordered to get her disposed. However, Boro kept her alive probably for her selfish motives or to use her as a trump card.
Code calls Eida the “person who knows everything in this world.” This implies that she is gifted with vast depths of knowledge.
Meanwhile in Konoha, Naruto will be making preparations for the Five Kage Summit. He wants to share all the intel with the other villages to prepare for the upcoming threats like Code, Eida, and other cyborgs.

I. A Quick Recovery after the Battle
In Chapter 56, the people of Konoha treat Boruto as some kind of hero who saved Konoha from Isshiki Otsutsuki. He is called for a grand interview and is cheered by hundreds of people for his heroic deeds.
But deep down, he knows that he was the one who created more problems for Naruto and Sasuke. He blames himself for Sasuke losing his Rinnegan.
Meanwhile, Amado treats Kawaki’s injuries. Kawaki gets a new arm that is created from his own cells, so there’s no question of the body rejecting this new hand.
However, things like Kurama’s death and Sasuke losing his Rinnegan are irreparable losses that the previous fight has brought down upon Konoha.
II. Boruto Suspended from Missions
The heads of Konoha are keeping the details about Karma and Boruto’s rampage a secret from the villagers to avoid causing mass panic.
However, Boruto is suspended from all the missions as it would be too dangerous if he loses control again.
Not only that, Boruto will be under strict surveillance 24×7, and all his moves will be monitored by the heads. This means that Team 7 is on an indefinite hiatus.
III. Boruto’s Vessel
Kawaki visits Boruto and tells him about a plan that will save him from getting abolished once Momoshiki comes back to life. He suggests Boruto to give his Karma to someone else, that way he can be brought back.
The idea may sound insane, but it is possible since Boruto has Karma on him and he possesses Ōtsutsuki’s powers. So, it shouldn’t be a problem for him to give a Karma to someone else, thereby making him/her a vessBorutoel.
However, Boruto instantly rejects the idea. He doesn’t want to sacrifice another life for his own survival.
Kawaki calms him down by asking him to make Code his vessel. He is evil in the first place, and the fact that he is compatible with Karma makes him the perfect vessel for Boruto.
IV. Code is the Next Threat
Back in Hokage’s office, Amado shares with Naruto and Shikamaru everything he knows about Code.
According to Amado, Code is Kara’s last surviving officer, who was entrusted with guarding the Ten-Tails in the other-dimensional space.
Ever since Sasuke infiltrated it, they went on high alert. With Sasuke Rinnegan destroyed, the Time-space ninjutsu can no longer be used. Naruto and his friends have to take care of Code before misuses the Ten-tails’ powers.
Amado further reveals that Code is a special case. Although he isn’t a vessel, he is compatible with Karma. The reaction that took place in his body after Jigen’s ritual gave him powers that exceed Jigen himself.
Where other Kara members are remodelled to strengthen them, Code is biologically engineered to put his immense power in check. He has limiters to suppress his strength in order to avoid undermining of Jigen’s position as leader.
There were other cyborgs created by Amado who greatly surpass Jigen’s power, but all of them were disposed of under Jigen’s orders. Amado did this to take down Jigen, but Jigen was too clever to fall for such a trick.
V. Code Visits Eida
Code locates one of Boro’s hidden establishment that Bug manages. He is searching for Eida, one of the overpowers cyborgs that Amado was talking about.
Code reveals that Boro is already dead and demands for Eida. Bug reluctantly agrees to lend Eida in exchange for a handsome payment.
